Pemi-Baker Hospice & Home Health is Offering a Free Six-Week Grief Support Group in Lincoln starting August 8th.
Grief is a deeply personal journey, and no one should have to walk it alone. Pemi-Baker Hospice & Home Health invites community members who are coping with the loss of a loved one to participate in “Understanding Grief & Healing,” a free six-week grief support group designed to provide guidance, encouragement, and connection.
Whether your loss is recent or occurred some time ago, grief can bring feelings of sadness, confusion, anxiety, loneliness, and uncertainty. This supportive series offers a safe, compassionate environment where participants can better understand the grieving process, share experiences if they choose, and discover healthy ways to move forward while honoring their loved one.
The group will be facilitated by Dawn Alvarez, M.Ed., Certified Grief Educator and Medical Social Worker with Pemi-Baker Hospice & Home Health. Drawing on her experience supporting individuals and families through loss, Dawn will guide participants through discussions and activities focused on understanding grief, coping with emotions, and finding hope and healing.
The six-week series will be held at Lincoln/LinWood Senior Services, part of the Grafton County Senior Citizens Council, 194 Pollard Road, Lincoln NH on the following dates:
